TPC Weekly Update 9/23

Posted by North Bay Aquatics at Sep 23, 2019 12:28PM PDT

Hello—

PRACTICE — Normal this week. There is a BIG tennis event at TPC this week, so parking may be limited. Please be safe and don’t over-rush (the pool isn’t going anywhere!)

ST HELENA RECAP — Great early season racing up in sunny St. Helena. It is so cool to race with the smell of crushed grapes mingling in the air with floating hot air balloons. Waxing poetically aside, we competed well and had some excellent swims! Highlights were some fun/fast relays as well as quite a few lei’s handed out to heat winners. Overall, I was very impressed with our team, and am excited to keep the ball rolling through the Fall season! Ribbons are being mailed to the club

GOALS — Attached to the email is some goal setting information as well as a goal sheet. Group 3 swimmers are required to fill out a goal sheet, but I encourage younger swimmers who attend meet to take a look at the info with their parents. Please email me with any questions!

MEET SCHEDULE THROUGH FALL

10/19,20 Santa Rosa C/B/A+ — Another sanctioned meet.
10/26 SPOOKY PLUNGE — a great novice meet at the Rafael Racquet Club (sign ups up next week)
11/2,3 NAPA C/B/A+ — now open!!!
12/6-8 JUNIOR OLYMPICS — in San Jose

QUOTE — With the new day comes new strength and new thoughts. — Eleanor Roosevelt

See you at the pool,
Coach Mike
