TPC Weekly Update 3/11

Posted by North Bay Aquatics at Mar 11, 2019 12:02PM PDT

Hello—

PRACTICE—Normal this week!

NAPA RECAP—Fine swimming in crazy winter weather (but that’s how we like it!). We had some new ‘A’ times (Nico, Issac, Cameron, Esme) and Marina grabbed a new ‘BB’ time in the 100 Free! We also had a ton of new best times and gained a lot of valuable meet experience. Overall, a great meet for Tuna Nation—Full results <>

JUNIOR OLYMPICS!— This weekend in Walnut Creek. From TPC we have William Canori, Kai Makino, Cameron Forbes, and Fiona Bell who qualified in individual events. We also take swimmers who are close to the mark to fill our relays, so it should be a fun-filled, rocking weekend. Go TUNA!!

3/23 JASON LEZAK at RRC—If you don’t know who this guy is, take a moment to watch this relay (found in email) —regarded by some as one of the most exciting Olympic moments ever. One of my coaching colleagues told me he watches this video at the beginning of each season. Jason will be doing a clinic over at the Rafael Racquet Club. Check email for details and registration.
