North Bay Aquatic Swimmers Shine in High School Championship Finals

North Bay Aquatic swimmers break an NCS high school record on the Redwood High School 200 free relay with Devon DeMont and Deborah Roth. Redwood was also first in 400 free relay with Azita Sayadi and Roth. At NCS Andrew Latimer won 50 free and Deborah Roth won 100 back in addition to North Bay Aquatics NCS and CCS finalists placing in the top 3: Chris Packer, 2nd 200 and 100 free, Stephanie Christofferson 3rd 100 fly, and Pieter Kranenburg 3rd 200 and 100 free.

North Bay Aquatics Triumphs at Junior Nationals Swim Championships
Orlando, Florida March 17-21, 2009
North Bay’s Deborah Roth had an amazing meet, winning 2nd place in 50, 100 and 200 back, 3rd in 200 free and 4th in 100 free. North Bay's power breaststroker Jon Denton-Schneider was 3rd in 50 breast and 5th in 100 breast. In butterfly NBA’s Stephanie Christofferson was 7th in 50 fly and 11th in 100 fly.
North Bay Aquatics upheld its impressive men's relay legacy with the men's 400 free relay winning 2nd: Andrew Latimer, Pieter Kranenburg, Jon Denton-Schneider & Chris Packer. The mens 200 free relay won 3rd: Andrew Latimer, Pieter Kranenburg, Trent Williams and Chris Packer and the NBA’s men's 200 medey relay 10th with: Pieter Krannenburg, Jon Denton-Schneider, Trent Willimas and Chris Packer.

North Bay Aquatics Successful at Speedo Champions Series
Las Vegas, NV February 25 - March 1, 2009
Individual finalists were lead by Deborah Roth who nabbed gold with 1st in 100 back 54.64, setting a new meet record, and 6th in 50 free 23.65. Championship finalists from North Bay included Chris Packer 4th in 100 free 45.90, Stephanie Christofferson 5th in 100 fly 55.10, Jack Ostler 5th in 100 fly 50.42 and 5th in 100 free 46.40, and Jon Denton-Schneider 6th in 100 breast 57.47.
Both NBA women and men's 400 free relays placed 5th out of over 50 teams. NBA women had a time of 3:37.64 with Liz Rosen, Deborah Roth, Stephanie Christofferson and Azita Sayadi. NBA men had a time of 3:07.55 with Pieter Kranenburg, Andrew Latimer, Dillon Moscone and Chris Packer.

North Bay Aquatics senior's team performed impressively at the Southern California Invitational swim meet held in Los Angeles December 6-9. The North Bay men placed 3rd overall, the women placed 5th, with the team finishing in 5th place overall out of 70 elite swim teams from all over California.

Twelve North Bay Aquatics Age Group swimmers participated at the Junior Olympics Nov. 30-Dec 2 in Pacifica. Madison Livingston, age 14, led the North Bay Aquatics team with a 2nd place finish in the 100 Freestyle and 3rd place finish in the 200 Freestyle.

High School Swimmers Do North Bay Aquatics Proud: Record-Breaking Performances at MCAL's

Over thirty North Bay Aquatics (NBA) swimmers gave shining performances for their high schools at three different high school conference championship meets which took place on Saturday, May 13. Many of North Bay's "Angry Tuna" swimmers, swimming for their high school teams, successfully qualified for the final championship meets, NCS and CCS, which will take place this coming Saturday, May 19.
