In the 13-14 girls age group, Deborah Roth wowed with 1st place in four events with a time of 58.4 seconds in the 100 back, 200 back (2:04.0), 200 freestyle (1:53.6) and the 500 freestyle (5.00.3). Roth finished 2nd in the 400 individual medley (4:33.3).
Laura Slater, also in the 13-14 girls age group, chalked up 1st place wins in the 50-yard freestyle (24.3) and 1st place in the 100 free (52.7).
Elizabeth Kamai won 1st place in two events, with a time of 24.2 in the 50 free and in the 100 free (52.7) in the girls 15-16 age group.
Stephanie Christofferson also turned in a strong performance, placing 4th in the 50 free (24.9), 3rd in the 100 butterfly (59.1), 3rd in the 200 breaststroke (2:23.2) and 4th in the 200 individual medley (2:08.7).
In the girls 10 & Under age category, Mary Simcock placed 5th in the 50 breaststroke (36.3) and 7th in the 50 free (28.8).
In the boys 15-16 age group North Bay’s Chris Packer, who finished 3rd with a time of 21.7 seconds, continues to be one of the fastest 50 freestylers in Pacific Swimming. Teammate Jon Denton Schneider finished 8th in the 50 free (22.9).
