Our team was fabulous...and thats what this weekend was truly all about. It is very important that at least once or twice a year that we as a team pull together all possible and willing participants to swim together at one meet. It is just as important for our older experienced swimmers as it is for the first timers who are just being introduced to a real swim meet. The synergy that was created on our team was tremendous and as always will pay off for those who were there. I can't give you highlights as there were way too many great swims to single any few out. We did win the meet by a rather large margin, but more importantly to me was the great sense of team I felt.
I would like to thank all the parents who donated huge amounts of time to make this meet happen. Some were there from the Friday setup to the Sunday breakdown and worked the whole time. I won't start naming people for fear of forgetting some key people. I couldn't have done this without you and I thank you so much. We are getting people involved in the actual running of the meet which makes us a more complete team...something that I feel is important for the future growth of the NBA. Snack bar people, all I can say is that I told the league it is our turn to do something else and they all agreed, so thanks for doing it one more time.
