TPC Weekly Update 1/21
PRACTICE – Normal practice this week—remember Fridays are 3:30-4:30 for Groups 1 & 2, 4:30-6:00 Group 3.
ZONE 3 RECAP – Congrats to Tuna Nation! Thanks to all of those who helped time, officiate (Lisa Butcher!), and ran the Hospitality. We really show our stuff when we are firing on all cylinders!
We took home the first place trophy in a pretty close meet. NBA 1152, Santa Rosa 1028
We had 4 new record board swims—all in the 6-under boys category: Brooks Canori smoked a 50 Back 20.84 (2nd), and Eli Kim blasted on to the scene with 3 record board swims 25 Free 17.61 (2nd), 25 Back 22.09 (3rd), and 25 Breast 25.08 (3rd).
NBA had great relays in all age-groups, and it was a fun weekend overall!
Cameron Forbes and William Canori both took home High-Point Trophies for 10-unders, while Chase Forbes, Sophia Swanson, and Dylan McDonald all were in the Top 5 scoring for their age-groups.
Nice Job Tuna!
ARIZONA – We will be working on Arizona entries this week. Please let me know which events your swimmer would like to compete in—and if they are planning on being there all 3 days of competition. FYI, at this meet, they are somewhat lax on qualification times for 50’s and 100’s, but they won’t budge a .01 on the 200’s and up. If you aren’t sure, I can help!
