Posted by North Bay Aquatics on Feb 11 2020 at 02:59PM PST

2/12 UPDATED POST

Hello-

PRACTICE NEXT WEEK (SKI WEEK 2/18-21) – Next week we will have combo practices Tuesday through Friday. Groups 1 and 2 combined from 3:30-4:30, and Group 3 from 4:30-6. No practice Monday!

LESSONS – In addition, the coaches will be available to teach lessons throughout the week – with many of our usual clients out of town, and the kiddos out of school, we have good flexibility. Contact me directly to arrange lessons with any of the coaches at mike@northbayaquatics.org.

If you are out of town next week, have a great time with your family!—but, if you are in town, send your swimmers to the pool to burn off some energy!

See you at the pool, Coach Mike

Hello-

PRACTICE – Normal this week at TPC. A separate email with details about next week will come out tomorrow.

ARIZONA PRACTICE – This Thursday, 2/13, at College of Marin Kentfield (COM) from 5-6:15. This will be a light/fun get together for swimmers attending the Arizona meet! — there will still be practice at TPC for those not attending the AZ meet.

VALLEJO C/B/A+ RECAP – Great swimming by the Tuna in sunny American Canyon! We had tons of best times including Eli Kim bettering his already Record Board Time in the 25 Free. Thanks to all the parents who timed, officiated, wrangled, or helped move the team canopies. Congrats to all who participated! Results and ribbons out soon!

PHOTOS – There will be a professional photographer at TPC to take photographs of the kids enjoying the class. These photos may be used on the new TPC website. If you are opposed to this please let me know by replying to this email. If not, great, we may use the photos for the new TPC website launching soon.

SWIMMER OF THE MONTH – Mirabel Arlander, Esme Palmer, and Chase Jackson!

It’s been awhile, so we have a few—

- Mirabel has figured out the value of hard-work and it has paid off in her last two meets where she has dropped big time in just about everything! Unsatisfied, she’s hungry for more heading into this weekend’s Arizona meet!

- Esme has likewise been leaning into her training—and while she has always shined as an elite sprinter, her longer swims are coming into their own, including a great 500 in Vallejo! She is a constant leader and gets very mad at me when I don’t let her lead a lane!

- Chase is the energy leader of our powerful 8-un boys crew. He always brings a great attitude, and is willing to do just about anything the diabolical coaches can come up with.

All three of these swimmers make our team better and stronger—way to go Mirabel, Esme, and Chase!
